Terms and Conditions

  1. The competition promoter is Himalayan Heroes / Ride Africa, herein known as “The Promoter/s“
  2. “The Prize” of the Himalayan Heroes “Win a Himalayan Motorcycle Adventure” competition is any motorcycle adventure listed on the website himalayanheroes.com with an Australian dollar value of less than $6,000 with the exception of any tour in Tibet.
  3. As with all adventures, the winner must agree to all Terms & Conditions and sign the standard waiver of liability.
  4. Entrants are automatically entered into The Promoter/s “Win a Himalayan Motorcycle Adventure” competition upon filling out an entry form and by entering, agree to the terms and conditions of the competition.
  5. Entrants are automatically subscribed to The Promoter/s email newsletter database by entering the “Win a Himalayan Motorcycle Adventure” competition. Entrants are free to unsubscribe at any time.
  6. Entrants personal information will not be used or shared with a third party. It will only be used to promote services provided by The Promoter/s.
  7. The Promoter/s “Win a Himalayan Motorcycle Adventure” competition commences at 10am Sunday the 1st December 2019 (AWST) and closes at 5pm Thursday 31st December 2020 (AWST)
  8. Entrants must be over 18 years of age.
  9. Employees, directors, officers, management and immediate family of The Promoter/s are ineligible to enter. Immediate family is deemed to be siblings, parents, children, and family living under the same roof.
  10. An entrant can enter the The Promoter/s “Win a Himalayan Motorcycle Adventure” competition more than once.
  11. The winner will be drawn at random at 7pm Thursday 1st December 2020.
  12. The winner will be emailed and announced via the The Promoter/s newsletter.
  13. The winner must collect “the prize” via email or phone before Sunday 31st January 2021 from a representative of The Promoter/s. Photo ID will be required.
  14. If the winner fails to collect the prize, the competition is deemed as complete. No second chance draw will be conducted.
  15. The decision of The Promoter/s shall be final and not be contested. No correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The Promoter/s may use the winner’s details for promotional purposes which may include but not limited to press, TV media and online media.
  17. “The Prize” does not include international flights, personal expenditure such as but not limited to, visas, travel insurances and travel immunisations.
  18. “The Prize” must be redeemed and used before Friday 31st December 2021
  19. No cash alternative to “The Prize” will be offered and no cash refund or exchange will be given if “The Prize” is not used in full with The Promoter/s.
  20. “The Prize” is not transferable.
  21. “The Prize” cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer.
  22. It is the responsibility of “The Prize” winner to ensure they have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.
  23. The Promoter/s are not liable for any damage, injury or loss of personal belongings during the period of travel.
  24. The Promoter/s reserve the right to alter or amend both the terms and conditions of the competition and the duration the competition is valid, without notice.
